About The Club

Our club is run by 4 expert black belt instructors each with over twenty years of experience. Kevin Roberts 4th dan, Shaun Walsh 2nd dan, Michelle Roberts 3rd dan and Lewis Alder 2nd dan. We train in the style of Shotokan Karate.

There are over sixty current members ranging from white belts to black belts. There are two session, 1st is for junior students, this now includes any parents who wish to train with their child. The 2nd is for Adults and senior grade students.

We have members from all walks of life and all ages and you do not need to be especially fit in order to take up karate. However it will be invaluable in helping to develop and maintain good cardio-vascular fitness.

Karate helps to develop flexibility, confidence, balance and self defense, and is a great way to meet people from around the local area. We arrange regular club nights out and all classes are taught in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.
